My track times.....
OK guys, well, you know i have a 93 5.0, AOD. i am only 15 and dont have my licesne yet. i ran the car at the track once and didnt do to bad for my first time (it was SCAAARY anyways, i ddint have the timin advanced, and my diff is going out so i only spun 1 tire and slipped pretty bad, i ran 15.02 at 92.4mph. i had the following mods at the time:
mac equal length shorty headers
bbk O/R h pipe, 2 chamber flows dumped
MSD balster coil
taylor race wires
bbk 70mm tb
ok i dont know how good that it, i Live in northern indiana, now im wondering now i got the new stuff what do you guys excpect me to run once i get my mods in and get my licens( sometimes in June when i go to the track i will have the following mods:
BBK 70mm TB and EGR
BBK cold air intake( fenderwell mount)
MSD blaster coil, cap, and rotor,
Taylor 409 race wires
mac equal length shorty headers
BBK O/R h pipe
2 chamber flows
NEW TO COME BEFORE I GO BACK TO THE TRACK!!!!!!! :
All the previous mods + :
3.73 gears
Auburn performance differential( no more 1 wheel burnouts!
performance bearing kit
Flex a lite electric fan
Subframe connectors
timing at 14 degrees
octane 93
stock type tires ( 225's for now
Well, what kinda times do you think I can run ( letting it shift automatically)

one not every car likes its timing at 14* some like 12* some like 13* and hell some like 15*. so go by what hte car feels the best and doesnt ping. also you need to get a stall and learn to be aggressive with that auto. do the process i explained a while back. LDLD. with doing that and tires you should be low 14s maybe a high 13 but on street tires i say you'll probably run a 14.75 or so with what you desribed

I'm not going to make a prediction on your times, but I do have a recommendation.
If you are going to install an Auburn diff, you might as well get a 31 spline units and install some new axles back there. It would be the perfect time to do it.
Also, you're only 15 and have a 5.0 and an 05 GT??!!?? What are you selling?!?!?!

hey boby how quick is that new gt?........ i would say you would run mid 14's... every auto trans i had, i still manual shifted it from l to drive and what not... autos just arent the fun for me, but you should get a shift kit asap, also a stall
