Default Headers

Hi I was just wondering i am going to order headers from Jegs.com I was wondering what i should go with. I have a BBK x-pipe on right now with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. I am thinking of leaning toward BBK but cant decide wether i should go with shorty or equal length shorty headers? I dont want long tude headers because my state has E check and it would be a pain to pull them off each time. Secondly should i go with Chrome or Ceramic? Any help would be appreciated.

I'd go with the BBK ceramic equal length shorties if you can afford it.

definitely go with equal lenght and get the ceramic coated ones as they will not discolor like chrome and last lots longer too. shop around for the best price and make sure they are emissions legal if your state is real picky about it. I've got MAC 1-5/8" equal length shorties on mine and they came with the tag welded on them saying they passed the CARB requirement for CA.

like everyone else said get equal length and ceramic coated. The crome will just burn off and the header will rust but with ceramic it will keep heat in speeding up exhaust velocity and increase scavenging. Equals keep exhaust pulses in the header at a min. so it isnt as crowded
