95 cobra 347

Need help i have a 95 cobra 347 with vortech,etc.battery relocated to the back,car pushes 580 hrsp.since i moved the battery the car will not crank up immediately after a run needs about 5 mins an a jump box to recrank.i have replaced the battery an the starter but still have the problem.Could it be as simple as the battery cable being bad?anyone else have this issue.

Sounds likea bad alternator. Did you have to mess with the alternator wiring when you relocated the battery?
