Default engine or trans-NEED HELP

so i have to make my final decision pretty soon on what to buy next.....
should i do a H/C/I with GT40P heads, TF stage 1 cam and a new intake OR
should i get an edge custom racing converter (3000 stall), tranny cooler, and a shift kit

i know that the trans will get me faster 0-60 times but what would give me a better 1/4??

if you do the engine the trans is probley gonna go out faster so you might end up doing both...i would do the motor

why not? That's what I planned on doing when I was looking for a fox. GT40P's and explorer intake then a cam. Pretty cheap power. Obviously it's not the best out there by a long shot, but as far as bang/buck it's hard to beat if your on a budget.

the TFS1 cam is crap... its a very entry level cam, and almost as out dated as the alphabet cams

If your gonna get GT-40p's get them from tristatecylinderhead.com
get yourself a nice flowing intake and portmatch it
