RE: ac and smog delete?? how much horse does it free up??
AC delete will basically free up nothing as the AC doesnt put a load on the engine when it's off, if i had to guess the smog is good for 1-2hp, only a shot in the dark though.

the main reason for deleting smog and ac is to shed weight. delete the ps pump and youll free up some good hp and loose weight

i just got rid of my ps, ac, and smog pump.. went with a flaming river manual rack. but it was the weight i was after. with my new qa1 fron K member and getting rid of all them pulleys and pumps i probably dropd 80lbs easy.. witch is almost a tenth of a second plus better weight transfer at the strip.. and less stress on my motor..
ps. i also have electric mezier water pump.. so alls im turning is the alt and crank.. should really help stress and maybe some power at higher rpms...
