Generally everyone has issues with the regular Black Magic fan, not the Black Magic Xtreme. I love mine and it keeps my motor very cool.

The Tauras fan is a good mod. Get one from a 3.8L. Some people use a Volvo fan too, but I'm not familiar with that swap. It's probably worth looking into though if you can't find the Mark 8 or Tauras fan.

Taurus fan is a definite. I've got a BM on my 351 and it's a complete piece of crap. I can't drive for more than 20 minutes and the temp gauge is way up there. The fan just doesn't cool. Seriously go to a junkyard and buy one from a taurus. Be cheaper and it actually works.

Exactly! Guys, don't get the regular black magic and the black magic xtreme confused. Hell the Black magic extreme that we have pulls more CFM's than the Taurus fan. If you're going to do a junkyard elec. fan swap, go for the Mark VII swap.

+1 My black magic extreme hasn't let me down or gone over set temp yet. I've had it for about a year now I think.
