bad wheel hop

Default bad wheel hop
when i take off and the tires spin it get really bad wheel hop.....what would cause this....i checked the struts and they seem fine.....what else could cause this?

bad control arm bushings....upgrade the arms and the bushings

hmm thats odd, i have the same problem with my 83, the wheels hop and that caused my old 7.5 to blow, even with the 8.8 swap and new rear shocks its still there. im also trying to get this down

I had bad wheel hop as well, then I got control arms and it went away

do you have quad shocks? are they aftermarket, i installed some and they really helped, also aftermarket control arms and sticky tires

its all stock suspension.....struts are most likely oem replacements because they do look sorta newish

when i took the quads off it got bad but then i put on the lakewood shocks and it cleared up
