Default NON roller block BOSS 302

Hey everyone its been awhile. How is everyone? Well since I have been gone I sold my 97 cobra and bought a 2004 ford lightning. Anyway down to topic. I have a boss 302 block. The old one not the new one. I want to put it in my 92gt but I want to run a hyd roller cam. What do I need to make this work in this block? My build: boss block, high nodular iron crank, shelby 289 rods yea thats right its a 289 lol. 12.5 comp pistons, lunati cam, heads I am not sure yet, and Intake prolly a trick flow. Thanks guys

My pop has had it for years, I got the ok to use it. Its a short block. It has the pop up pistons and stuff so I am going to make a semi mean N/A cammer.

You can do it like they do it on the late models. Drill and tap the block for the plate that holds down the lifter separators(dunno what they're called) That would be the cheap way

^^ I was wondering if I could do it that way. I did not see y not. I have all that stuff. For thoes worried about the CR I am going to run. I am not. You can do wonders with fuel injection. The cam is Mild the timing will be mild. When I figure out what heads I am going to run I will get the biggest combustion chambers they offer.
