Default Stroker Kit or stock rebuild??!!??

as most of you know by my ***** posting im getting a new motor. cant figure out what i want to do with it. thought i was dead set on a jasper short block but i was thinkin possibly stroker kit but idk. what is everyones opinion on them. they ok for a DD. i heard DSS makes a good kit. where can i find one. what is the n/a power of a say 331 and 347. just trying to keep my mind open since i have a little time before i do this. keep in mind budget is around ~3500and that has to include clutch, heads, short block (either jasper or stroker), and cam

ps. heads i plan on getting are from tristatecylinderheads. gt40p

you heard wrong!

if those are the heads your going to run, stick with a stock rebuild. i have afr 165s and they arent enough for my 331 so i have to sell them. if you want a stroker, buy better heads

there are several GOOD builders on e-bay or check your local machine shop for block and short blocks that they have done and people couldn't pay for it.. I dothe latterall the time for people this could save you 100's...I would do a 351 before I would do a stokers....find some use aluminum heads which will be cheaper, also you can find used cams for 150 or so to save you another 100 or e-cams are cheap

Scat kits are good. You won't find a better price than what I sell them for.

if I can ever figure out my oil problem with my stroker I will let you know how it runs with trick flow heads. you are gonna pay more than 3500 to build a stroker engine, trust me im in the hole about 6k and it still isnt running LOL
