what kind of alternator should i get
so my alternator keeps dieing. the car has a very hard time cranking and the battery is good. the blades on the alternator are turning black so i figure thats the culprit.
no idea what kind is in it now. it used to charge at 14 volts all day then it suddenly has dropped over time. 13 volts.. 12.. 11.. and now 10 today.
i know i should just take it out and test it but its not worth it. if i take it out i wanna replace it cus i know its not gunna last very long.
heres my current electrical pullers:
- 3300cfm extreme fan
- 2 autometer gauges (lights are on when the cars on)
- 2000w stereo system with 1.5 farad cap
- radar detector / gps navigation
what amperage should i get? cant spend alot of money. just dropped $850 on parts 3 days ago. my bank even called me to verify because ive been spending money like crazy the past week.
