cause I own one..
Yeah, what he said!
They also changed the gauges and the a/c controls just a little in 90. Only thing I don't like about the 89 LX models are the seats. They have about the same support as a cardboard box. They also have the black belt line mouldings. I used to despize this and was going to paint mine body color, but now it has really grown on me. I like mine much better than the solid white ones.

Actually, the '87 and '88 5.0's were a little, not much, quicker than the MAF cars.
The MAF cars are a good choice if you intend to do any mods........which many people do.

Well, what's so funny about driving long distances in a GT? Doesn't GT stand for Grand Tourismo or Grand Touring in English??

Only by 6hp. 3 because of the intake plumbing for the MAF & 3 for the cam change.

& btw, about half of the 89's came with a 140mph guage. All of them would have had 140's, but the factory had left over 85 mph guages, so they used up the supply first.

Yeah, I think they began using the 140s in March of 89, if I remember correctly.

89's are the **** cause I have one. Not really, any 89-92 is as good as another. 93 is cool, but dont have the forged pistons. That doesnt really matter unless you plan on spraying it or something.
