dude, im in maryland... i have an o/r h pipe AND dumps... i also get pulled over 2 or so times a month. never once had a problem w. it... i just swap the stocker back on for emissions

I retarded the timing on my 88 and it went through Delaware emissions. And they looked for cats but i have a pro chamber so i think they thought that was a cat

Realisticaly, you can pass emissions with an o/r pipe. Just takes some tweaking.
Some states require factory exhaust, and they will check when testing.
When my car got tested, before they even sniffed it, the operator looked under my car for cats.

20 years old no emmisions just hope minisitry of enviorment doesnt hear my loud *** car and pull me over and check me out... Im from canada there really strict in my province were the only province in canada where they are trying to have the same standards as california (were right next to the polluting motor city)

I have 2 sets of factory pipes one with cats and one with knocked out cats. They use an inspection mirror here to make sure you have cats on the car. With a working smog pump and GOOD O2 sensors I have passed the tail sniffer with the hollowed out pipes, I keep the functional set around just in case! Course now I moved to a county that don't require a test but I am still keeping mine "legal" just incase they change the requiements.
