How do you get away with an o/r mid pipe?

How do you get away with an o/r mid pipe?
Here in maryland we have emissions, and i know people around here run off road mid pipes, but how do they pass emissions?
Who do you know? or who do you have to blow?

Just put the stock one or a catted mid pipe back on for emissions. My cars an 87 so once emissions comes up for mine again I'm just going to get classic tags. No emissions when you have classic tags.Your car has to be 20 years old to get them.

Anyway, keep your stock midpipe and put it back on for emissions. I'm running an offroad in X in MD.

i used to just throw the stock mid pipe back on and it would pass. i have to test again before august, not sure how im going to do it. probably just pay some one off.

My friend had an 87GT and he passed with an off-road h-pipe in MDand one of my dads friends had an off-road h-pipe on his 89GT who also passed in MD. Both of themretarded the timing back before testing. Just hope that they don't look under the car.I have an off-road H-pipe and I have my emissions test in August but I have my stock h-pipe at home.
