Default Do I need to change injectors?

Pretty soon Im going to be putting new AFR heads and a Comp cam in my '92. I already have an Edelbrock Performer intake on it.
Currently it has Accel 19# fuel injectors and a 70mm MAF out of a '95 GT.
The motor is stock internally.

Do I need to change to higher # injectors or are the 19#'s fine?
I know Id need to change to a MAF calibrated to whatever # injectors I got.

Personally, with the new HCI, I'm bump it up to 24# injectors.

And technically, you don't have to have the MAF calibrated to the inejctors.

It would be very smart for you to get a dyno tune... while still using the SN-95 MAF

you will get more accurate results than with an aftermarket maf

last week one of my injectors went bad so I put my stock ones back on and I felt the performance loss right away. now that I got my 24s back it pulls great again. If I was u I would definately get some 24s

So using the Sn95 MAF with 24# injectors wont screw anything up or cause a CEL?
I probably wouldnt be able to get it dyno tuned right away. There is a local place that does it but Im not sure if Id take it there due to some stuff Ive heard.
What exactly does a dyno tuning actually do and what is a good price to pay for it?

Do I need to upgrade the fuel pump to run the 24's or is the stock pump ok?

Are used injectors ok or are they something that should only be bought new?

19#'ers will suffice.....but look for 24# swap soon after

19 lb w/ 190 pump will support 300 true hp

but only if they are working to full potential...if they are lacking...you'll go lean

Ive got no idea of what the horsepower will be on this car. 300 would be nice.
The injectors in it now are fairly new. I dont know why the previous owner replaced them and kept the stock #'s though.

as long as they work it dont matter but you will have to upgrade the MAF sensor for those 24s and you will need to upgrade your fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and gauge, air fuel ratio meter, custom chip and youll be good to go. once you get the hang of it you will be able to tweek it yourself, adjust the fuel pressure, timing and all that stuff.
