I have them and they worked fine. I would have rathered got a nice set of 1.6 RR because they seem to limit the amount of cams you can choose for down the road upgrades.

lol, yes 1.7 can limit cam selection....too much lift = notched pistons
but your compression won't change from a rocker...only from decking the heads
1.7 is however the BEST rocker if you plan on stock cam (which is actually really dam good for a street car)
gains ???? don't expect a stellar change...but in combo w/ other breather boltons...yeah it's good

Valve lift is not what causes the possibility of having to notch pistons due to possible PtV clearance problems. When the piston and valves could collide, the valves (both of them at the same time) are only open anywhere from .015" to .157" (depending on the cam specs for the overlap event).....so total valve lift is not a problem...for PtV that is.
