Default Is this bad for my Mustang?!?

Hey. I gots a 1990 5.0 Liter Mustang Lx. My buddy has an 88 and he's just running pretty much open headers. My question is, Is it harmful to just run the exhaust from headers to h-pipe... and just stop it there? ( Ie. No mufflers... tipps... extention pipes) Would this be harmful for my engine? I know its illegal but I'm not worried about that. If someone could let me no the possible problems I could face that would be awsome. I am going to put a MagnaFlow cat back system on (Part #15630) in the comming weeks i just want my car to sound like death is commingaround the cornerfor afew weeks lol Thanks guys.

it would sound like death is coming.
i wouldnt think that for a couple weeks anything bad would result
but wait for someone with more car knowledge than me to chime in.

um, if im not mistaken, open headers AND a midpipe is OK, but just open headers can ruin valves

open headers - bad

atleast an H-Pipe - dumps, they are fine but be prepared to get dizzy and light-headed from the carbon monoxide poisoning

dont be surprised if your neighbors start throwing rocks when you drive by lol. my two chamber flows are loud enough I can just imagine driving around w/ those open headers.
