'89 is probably the best '80's model although the'82 GTis the best looking.
'89 has the FI HO 5.0 with better pistons and heads, MAF, tilt steering wheel and more.
'86 has different pistons that need notching with aftermarket heads and '86-'88 had speed density.
'79-'85 had carbs except for some CFI models (CFI is basically junk).
A few of the earlier models didnt even have a 5.0. They had a 255 or something like that.

85 is one of the best if your looking for carb. it has a roller cam first year for that motor. it is also supposed to be the fastest out of all the fox's in stock form
