volvo 5.0, will headers fit?
I plan on installing afr 165, rockers, cam etc. I just wanted to know if u guys think shorty headers will fit. Do they stick out much farther than cast iron exhaust manifolds.its a 1992 h.o motor converted to carb. I got the car from a good friend with 95% of the work already done. Thanks for any help.

I had an 82 wagon with a 360 dodge in it a few years ago. I was able to get shorties in, it was tight but i beleive the 302 is physically smaller so they should fit. Depends on your install/ placement.
They make fun toys especially with a quiet exhaust, stock wheels, etc. Perfect sleeper.

Long tubes ftw. They're going to be better for your application when you're done the engine

Uhh... did you seriously just estimate Mustang engine compartment space judging by the space you had in your station wagon? [&:]
No. It was a volvo wagon with a sbd, what i meant was that the 302 if im not mistaken is physically smaller than the sbd. I was able to get shorties in mine so it shouldn't be a problem with the 302 in there.
Does that clear up my previous statement?
