Wondering which plugs would be the greatest help for my 86 5.0?

Copper core, no Platinums. Motorcraft or Autolite will be plenty.

and what exactly am i wrong about? its a superceded part number, its the same plug.

Whatever came in it from the factory or the autolite equivalnet. Autolite makes motorcraft plugs.

ah no, 2545s are a different length then the 25s since we 86s got the ****ty E6 heads[:@][:@][:@]

You need the titanium Bosch +6 plugs with the iridium core and platinum variable electronically controlled gapper. They're a bit pricey but well worth it. As you go faster, the gap is electronically changed between the 6 tips to make sure the fuel is burned as efficiently as possible. In the end, that means more power to the wheels.
