Car Died...
I was at the mall, when I went to start my car up to leave, it wouldnt turn over. Its not the starter or the battery. The fuel pump was just replaced last year. Anyone have any ideas of what it could be?

if it wouldnt turn over, he means its completely dead. therefore he doesnt really need to worry about spark or fuel delivery on a motor that isnt spinning.........somethin drained the battery, easiest way to check is to charge it, and do a parasitic draw test, have someoen watch the meter, and start pullin fuses/realy. when the draw drops u found the biggest drain......which prolly killed ur car........u didnt leave the lights or radio on did you?

well.......does any of ur lights come on ur dah when u switch the key on? anything? if they do, and u hit the key and nothin happens, but all the lights die/get dim, ur starter is pullin too much current, which usually means its shorted/locke dup.starters have absolutely minimal resistance when they arestandin still, which is basically a short.if nothin happens at all when u turn the key on, then u need to check the solenoid and all to see if the starter is gettin the command to turn

how can you rule out the battery? ur battery might just be completely dead.. happened to me i had no acid left in the battery.. somehow even jumping it for like 10+ min didnt do anything.. try popping it if you have a 5spd

It wouldn't start or it wouldn't turn over? Two completely different things. If it won't turn over then the fuel pump isn't relevant plus I think people overlook that a brand new part could be bad, it happens all the time.
