Default New H/C/I swap but now no oil pressure

So I finnaly got my h/c/i swap done (with the assitance of a local shop because one of my headers refused to go on andI wanted them to look it over before hand) anyways I can't get any oil pressure now.

The guys at the shop were thinking that it was the lifters air locking, does this sound reasonable? Do you guys have any other suggestions

yup, isnt the oil pressure sending unit on the side down low near the oil filter? if thats where they are on the foxes and sn95's then you should be picking up oil pressure right away. did you try to prime and find this out, or did you start her up and let it run with no pressure?

ya it is in the same spot as a fox, I didn't start it up, the shop did but they didn't prime it first from what they told me

well i suppose the prime isnt really a big deal since its not a new motor, but why your not getting pressure if your shaft is ok is beyond me. how long did it run and not pump up?

I probably ran it for a minute or so. I didn't want to run it for very long and risk damaging anything... I am stumped on this one, plus I had a dyno tune appointment for tommorow that I had to cancel[:@]

But for that short time it did run damn did it sound good

so you have oil pressure through the filter and nothing coming up through the pushrods?

I am not sure if there is any anywhere, it sounded like the top end was rattling around a bit but it could just be that the rockers were a little loose or hitting the valve covers slightly
