I have a pro 5.0 shifter on my 1990 lx. It currently has the stock **** on it which I hate. My question is if this Hurst **** will thread directly on to the shifter.

From what I remember, the Pro 5.0 accepts the factory **** so it should work right?

well, that would depend on whether or not the 2 shifters have the same thread pitch.

 

The thread pitch for the **** should be 12mm X 1.75. I think the stocker is that also.
