why would a 86gt be faster than a 03 gt?
im very curious... i test drove a 03 gt with 75k on it 5 speed. and it was guttless and the guy loked at me like i was crazy and said it drives like all the new gts. so he wanted to drive my car after work and we did and he was shocked.my car seems to be all stock, but felt faster than a 88gt that was all stock that i drove last month. this is the only 5spd car ive had the rest had aod's or c-4s behind them. so i wonder if my motor has been bored over or are the new gt's just crap?

i know i sure as hell wont ever buy a newer gt now, maybe they are just really heavy, but the throttle response sucks so bad, i thought i was dring a 6er, in fact i drove 97 v6 that had exaust and it seemed snappier than the 03 gt

so why are they so slow??????????????????, i mean its a damn joke how slow, it didnt even pull in second, have to floor it to scoot, its like it makes its power really high up in the rpm range or something
