Default blowin high compression ratio?

Ok this should start a good debate. I have a 306 that is built to around 11 to 1 compression ratio. I was told that a supercharger wouldnt be out of the question with that high compression. I was told that with some kind of water cooled or injection I asume. I could be wrong with what its called, but that i would be alright. Let me know what you all think.

dont even bother with boost... you will need race gas all the time.

meth injection simply wont cut it

I didn't know it was even possible to boost with that high of compression.
The pics below show the numbers per cylinder that my car is producing. I have no idea what that amounts to. The one that had 190 has been fixed since then. Now all the cylinders are around the 240 mark.

are you talking about how much compression is in each cylinder? (how much psi will ur rings hold)
if so adder and the other guy are talking about Compression Ratio...

Yeah I know what they're talking about. I'm just saying that I hooked a compression guage up to each cylinder in my engine and that is the PSI that each cylinder was making. I just don't know what the ratio is for that PSI. My rings are file to fit. I don't know the exact pressure that they will hold, but it is set up for the 347 stroker.

there's not really a relationship between the 2

compression ratio and compression pressure are 2 different things

I don't mean to discourage, because I feel the best way to learn is by doing...
However, you are in for a world of hurt if you try to apply boost to that motor.

If you want boost, pull the motor, install low compression pistons (dished), and KNOW what the CR is.

This isn't something you want to 'just give it a try...' with. Stuff will break, in a big way...

good luck,
jason
