adjusting throttle cable?

adjusting throttle cable?
ok since my idle is high(1200) what do i do to adjust that to knock it down to where it should be? thanks

you can try adjusting the idle set screw, but if the butterfly is already closed its not going to help.

this is what the whole deal looks like... this is an actual view. the screw is underneath the throttle body.

awesome, thanks man! now since my idle also "surges" (fluxuates from 500-1500) could that be an issue as well? or is that the IAC by itself?

could be the IAC, could be a vacuum leak, could be a dirty MAF.

cant be MAF i don't got it haha 88 has Speed density. I'll check out the other things. thanks again
