How much do long tubs help comparted to a shorty headers or equal lenght ? .. . On a stock car becides exaust

on a stock car i dont think there is any difference. in fact the shorties might be better

on a stock car, with even little bolt ons it would be atleast 5hp in the top end...

If ur stock, definately go with s/t. They kick in around 2000rpms. The l/t's are designed for higher hp cars..320+ rwhp.

Definately. It is okay to use shortie headers on any application, but l/t's require more output to get a gain.

I'd go with equal length shorties for now, 1-5/8" in diameter with a stock motor. you can always go with long tubes later if you decide you really want to modify the engine a lot but long tubes are a lot harder to install and make working on things like the starter much harder to do. ask OB if you don't believe me on this one, he will tell you all about how hard it is to get to the starter with his long tubes which he loves to brag all about. LOL

go with equal length headers for now, you can plan on spending a good 10 hours and a LOT of frustration with longtubes
