Reallllyy weird problem possibly tranny?
ok guys I have a 95 5.0L auto all stock except for a catback. It blew the tranny about 10k miles ago and it was rebuilt and put back in with I believe a new tq converter as well (stock replacement). Anyway when im driving the thing and just cruzing it randomly seems like it unlocks the tq converter, the car jerks and the rpms come up. On the highway doing 65 and cruzing at about 1700 rpm or so they will come up to about 3k for a few seconds then shift back to od. However sometimes it goes to 3k and then keeps climbing to 4k, not accelerating but just slowly climbing then shift back again. Now im not sure if its dropping to 3rd or if its just unlocking the tq converter, but it seems like it drops to 3rd hard because the car jerks and then unlocks the tq converter. This is all with the same throttle input I don’t change a thing and it goes through that whole process. Its completely random sometimes its happens 10 times within a minute sometimes it doesn’t do it at all but it does do it at least 2 or 3 times every time i drive it. I had it checked out and 3 different shops said nothing was wrong. Ran the codes and nothing. I was told it could be the radiator, but that didn’t make any sense to me, had it pressure checked anyway and it came out fine. So anyone have any ideas? Thought it could it be the 3-4 shift solinoid or something but that was checke and its fine.

You don't have one. A computer controls the up and down shifts in the transmission. You might be having a sensor problem. The computer uses alot of info from the engine sensors to control the shift timing and quality. You might also be having an actual tranny issue. However it sounds more like an electronics issue.
