Default Downside: Solid Motor Mounts?

What's the downside to running solid motor mounts and solid tranny mounts? I mean besides the fact the it will feel like i'm sitting on top of a running dryer.

See that's what's I've heard, but what I'm wondering is what kind of bolts? How bad would that be?

As far as why not polyurathane, that's the reason for this thread

Bolts are going to come loose anyways. He asked if there was anything wrong with it and my response was not. Yeah you will tighten a few bolts now and then. If you are not checking your motor over frequently anyways then leave it stock and take it to the dealership to get worked on.

Solid motor mounts rule. End of story.
Solid trans mounts, on the other hand, are for race cars. Unless you like broken tailshafts and way too much vibration they are a bad idea. Too much flex in your chassis, it'll snap at the weakest point. Go polyeurethane

It's a matter of opinion, if you do more street driving than track use, go with poly. If you have a hardcore setup which runs primarily on the track, go with solid. It all depends on what your *** can with stand...[&:]
