I have recently got 4.10's installed and Ive had them for about 2 weeks, and Im Disapointed. For one there not all cracked up to be what people make them, people make them out to be like its a strip gear not for daily driver. People also say that 4.10's are too much for a Daily driver and first gear will be very short. I regret not getting 4.30's.Also I think that the 3.55's threw me back in the seat more than these 4.10's do.Also people said that you can start off in second with out any bog.I cant start out in second, I get bog. They are just not that great,I was expecting more bang more everything with these gears. I wish I got 4.30's or even 4.56. Im sad now

Wow, I think you are the first person to say that they didn't love their 4.10's... Maybe you just need to throw on a SC or something.

Perhaps they are too high for cars that are not highly modified because in order to take advantage of such high gears you need to be able to hit those high rpms fast, maybe with overhead cams you can reach higher rpms than without them. Then it will be worth the money...

I want 4.30's these 4.10's just dont give the kick I expected, sorry I wish they just had more kick, I expected them to be god but there really not that much better than the 3.55. Also I have an idea why. Mabye they arent 4.10. beacuse I cant start off in second, like people say. I think the people at the transmission shop installed the wrong gear. Ill have to turn the driveshaft to see if the turns 4 times per 1 tire revolution or is it backwards?

dude what drug are you smoking... i went from stock gears to 3.73s and i almost soiled my pants... you said you have some mods so you should feel the gears, you must be sleeping...

i would guess that the shop made a mistake..i also went from 3.73 to 4.10. and the difference was huge...

I think I know why... I just went and turned the tires, they are 4.10's for sure. BUT....I know why im not impressed.
1. Im spinning all the way through 3rd. I didnt do that before with 3.55's.
2. I need a shorter tire. I have a 28" tall tire, so in turn it make the gears feel like 3.73's
3.I NEED TRACTION thats why they seem slower, and in turn I felt they were slower.

Well why didn't you say that in the first place? Here everyone is wondering what is wrong with your head. If you are spinning the tires through 3rd gear then getting a shorter tire will only make it worse! How about trying to get a better tire? Like a Street Slick? That is my suggestion to you...
