Default bbk cai question

i'm buying myself some goodies this weekend.

bbk cai, ford racing 9mm blue racing wires, msd distributor cap and rotor

for the cai, do i want to buy the model that mounts directly into my fenderwell?

also, i heard the ford racing 9mm ignition wires suck and i should invest in msd wires, is that true?

cheers

Get the fender mount one and this is the cap/ rotor you want.
I run the ford wires w/o any problems. So do a lot of ppl.

1 More vote for the fender well CAI.

I beenrunning the MSD wires for over 7 yrs with no problems.
The MSD wires have bendable boots so if you do run into a problem with the plug boot rubbing against your headers you can bend them to miss your headers.

I had the BBK fenderwell cold air intake for awhile and loved it. I eventually sold it when I bought my procharger warm air intake.

+1 to BBK Fenderwell, that's what I have.

My 5.0 has been running Ford Racing's 9mm wires for years, i'm just about to replace them though for a fresh set.

will the "short ram" intake cause any issues with misfiring?

I've beenusing the Mac fenderwell cai (basically the same as the BBK) for over 7 yrs and I've never had a misfiring issue in that time!
