If acceleration is the ultimate goal and you are willing to sacrifice. As said 4.10's.
Just realize deep gears comes with drawbacks. The engine will rev higher, mileage will drop, highway speeds will not be as comfortable and everything will wear faster.
I have 3.73's in my coupe. It's stock and I can't stand the gearing. Waiting for a deal on 3.27's. For my application I doubt I'd slow down much from the present 13.6@102 because I can't aggressively launch it on radials anyways.

Well there is the difference 945L. To me it's not a step backwards.
For you when the ultimate goal is acceleration. Deeper is better.
For me. My car will never see a sticky tire. It's a daily driver and I can barely hook it now. It's going 2.0's on a regular radial and I'm confident I can duplicate that with a 3.27.
For my 60 to decrease I'd need a sticky tire. Combine that with a 3.73 and I'm sure it will be faster.
I also hate the highway rpm with the deep gears. If it was a trailered drag car, I see your point.

'90 vert AOD with 3.73's and very happy with them... i drive 10-15 miles a day one way to work at 70mph so i'm not dronned out too bad.. rpms are about 2000-2200 at 70. I'd go 3.73's, but thats just me.

If you get 3.73's your you'll get better more miles to the tank I **** you not man. I switched from 2.93's to 3.73's and I am getting 100 more Km's to the tank then before. I added some fuel injector cleaner to the other day and I'm pushing over 450 Km's toa tank
