it would be better to find a wrecked mass air car and use the stuff of that and you would also have other spare parts aswell

I don't think so...at least not just for the swap.

What you need for parts:
ECU
MAF
MAF tube
Wire harness
VSS (if you don't have cruise, then you will also need a new speedo cable for the VSS)
Time

I can give you a break down of my parts and costs if you would like...I right around $200 into mine.

If your a 5spd you may not even need the ECU I used my ECU when I did my conversion and it has worked fine. You can go 5spd ECU to auto but the auto only works properly with an auto car. At least from what Ihave read and been told.

The MAF and SD ECUs aren't different?

As far as I know not the 5spd ECU, like I said I used mine and my car runs fine, disconnect the MAF and it don't run for $hit so it is using thefeedback from the MAF.

SD and MAF computers are not interchangeable. The 5 speed SD computer is an SD1. There are several MAF computers for both 5 speed and automatics. The A9L is the most common 5 speed MAF computer.
