how do you tell if you have an aftermarket chip in your computer? can you tell just by looking at the outside or do you have to open it up?

 

A hypertech slides over the end of the computer, you can easily till by looking at the bottom of it, also look to see if factory seal is gone

 

well on the bottom of my computer it says hypertech but its just some type of guard or something like that anyone got a picture of their computer with a hypertech chip in it? anyways if it does have one i am wanting to take it out since i am gonna be installing my wet nitrous kit but just want to be sure

pull your computer down and you should see a black case at the top of the computer and it is screwed to lock in place. you can tell if its there because the computer is all silver without it

 

if you don't see a 1" case on the end, no chip

 

they also suck, so pull it off if you have one
