You talking about a blockoff plate?

If you remove your EGR, yes, you need a plate there or youll have a huge hole in the side of the intake where the EGR was.

If you mean removing the EGR and the square piece it bolts to, just leave the square piece there and get a blockoff plate. That square piece cant be that much of a hinderence to ya.
