What parts are you having trouble lacating? I have a 83 so I'm familar with performance parts. If you have 4 speed (SROD) might consder T-5, 8.8 diff for 7.5. Or leave it alone 4eyes are getting rare and stick out of crowd, even stock.

Its a 5-speed... And it needs alot of body work anyway so i might end up changing the front end and stuff anyway... Depends on what stuff i come across first i guess... Is this the gears you were talking about before http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku... Well like i said before i need to replace the fuel pump and heatercore ASAP cause these gas prices i dont need to leak gas lol... And the Heatercore is leaking and once i leak enough out i start to overheat... So should i just get a OEM fuel pump or what? Then next i am replacing the Whole exhaust system...

for the carb ditch it and buy a new holley the stock on is garbage. gears get a set of 3.55 or 3.73's. exhaust bbk headers, mac prochamber and the cat back is all up to you. get a new intake, the edlebrock rpm air gap is a great intake for street/strip. get a set of heads and matching cam. if you want to get cheap on the heads get a set of junk yard gt40's very nice heads for the price.

to bypass it you take a small piece of heater hose and connect the outlet and inlet on the engine and water pump. yes get rid of the stock carb its junk. they are the biggest peices of ****. get a new holley 600cfm vacuum secondaries. as for heads what are you looking to spend the junk yard gt40's are great heads for the price. or you could go for some aluminums which are gunna be over 1200
