hey guys, quick question. well i have a 90 lx and i was one day my window wouldnt roll up(passenger side). my driver side works perfect, but my passenger side is completely dead. I dont even hear an attempt to try and roll up. First thing i checked was the fuse but that wasnt it. has this happened to any of u guys before and if so u know how to fix it? maybe the motor? im not sure. thanks in advance all

pull your door panel off and test the motor itself...if nothing happens its junk

Also check all the plugs and wires around the inside of the door panel. When mine stopped working it was just a plug came undone.

happens to mine all the time take the panel off and smack the giant sprocket looking thing it should go up

try holding the button down, with the window up, then open the door at the same time and see if it works

The best thing to do is to take hte motor out and bench test it. If it works then take the one screw left holding the cover on and see what the nylon bushings look like in it. If they are shot replace them with either new ones (ford dealer may have them) or some 5/16"-18 nuts. You'll need 6 nuts if you go that route. Then reinstall the motor and test it. If it doesnt work its a break in the line or a switch then you will have to just trace it back.
