Just bought a new battery and I decided to replace my old stock battery cables at the same time. I'd like to sneak out from work and pick up the cables today so I can just head straight to my garage and get them in when I get home.

Anybody know if I need the 10" or 21" ford cable for the positive terminal? And the negative cable - anybody know how long that is supposed to be on an '87?

i would think 10 would be enough.....its not a boat your wiring. maybe you need 21 foot, not sure. is it going into your trunk? or is it still under your hood?

Inches man, not feet. lol. Just under the hood. If nobody knows, no problem - it'll just be an extra hour for me tonightso I'm not too worried. Thanks anyway FivePointOhh.

The negative might have to funny hook up on it. For that you either have to get the Ford cable or get a few cables and rig up a system.
