Default window tint

they guy that owned the car before me did a crappy tint job so i was going to remove it. what is the best way to remove window tint. thx

Wal-mart sell tint remover cheap and it works great just don't use a razor on the defroster grid if you have one everywhere else will be fine for a razor

Not trying to hijack thread but i need to replace my tint and was wondering what to use to scrub adhesive off of the defroster grid w/o damaging it.

use an aerosol window cleaner... usually melts the tint glue

My next-door neighbor owns a tint shop.......

He said to spray the interior windows with ammonia......then tape some black garbage bags over the interior of the windows to seal in the chemical

Let those bad-boys sit in the sun for an hour or two.........Grab a razor....he said they will slip off like butter.......

I never tried it....but he is a pro
