Yes, you are wrong. What do the shops up north charge per hour? Average shop labor/hr around here is 75 bucks, x 2-3 hours. Well, you do the math.

+1...it is a fairly simple job...hardest part is the spider gears...they just take a few mins to get lined up...

you can't know for sure until they get in there.....night be as little as new clutch packs

could be the carrier is broken who knows

do it when doing the gear and you'll be happy

Everything done to my car so far ive done myself, but i heard doing the gear is hard and you have to be precise or ull *** it up, my freinds uncle is a mechanic so ill have him take care of it 4 me.

Replacing the traction lok isnt going 2 affect gas mileage or anything will it? cause i wanna do this 2 my 2000 ranger aswell thats a 1 wheel squeel

nope just makes both tires turn, could the ranger be a limited slip? they only spin one from the factory.
