Default aftermarket bbk tach

i bought a bbk 180 speedo... and the light for the right side blinker is light green, and the stock one is barley visible... jus a lil anoying, anyways, just wondering if anyone has ever heard of a aftermarket tach, that fits in place of the old tach..

don't think anybody makes a aftermarket tach that fits in place of the stock one as the back of the instrument cluster is a maze of printed circuits which makes all the instrument lights and other gauges work so you can't just cut out a hole and mount a different tach in there. you can get some smaller ones that will mount on top of the steering column though from Autometer but I like the looks of the 5" Monster tach myself. I mounted mine on the dash cover for the instrument panel just above the switches on the right hand side of it.

ya, i was thinkin bout gettin the moster tach too roundman, but i just hate the idea of having that stock tach gauge there just being un used... maybe i could rig up the moster tach to fit inside the cluster area... i'll figure it out later i suppose, thanks for the replys anyway

I believe he installed the entire speedo assy. not just replaced the sticker. The speedo would have been calibrated when it was new.
