Default Your thoughts

Hello everyone out there in mustang land. My first post hope to have many more. posting for your opnion. I bought about a year ago a 84 gt350, found out it was one of the select cobra editions, however it was in bad shape. so i went to it start to fix the old car up and now im at a toss up. I want to keep it as orginal as possible. however, there have been improvment for those cars.

First i was thinking of using newer lower a arms that need to be replaced. Changing the car over to a five bolt instead of a four. and so on. I'm keeping the enging and tranny all orginal maybe some new headers instead of manifolds, however how far is too far. let me know what you think?

Thanks

If you do one thing, what's the difference? It's not like you can say "it's all original", cuz it's not. Just do whatever you feel you wanna do. Have fun with the car. That's what you bought it for right?

i would upgrade parts... make it run and handle better than it does stock, but then keep it looking stock (interior, body, etc.)
that's what i would do. just my opinion.

Body and Interior can stay the same.
Change the engine all you want :]

Having an all original 1984 GT350 Cobra edition means nothing. There isn't a great demand for them. Mod the hell out of it.

Just make sure to only replace the bolt on stuff. Keep all your stock parts, even the engine parts.and if someone ever wanted to buy it from you and have it be all original, you could always replace all the performance parts with the stock ones.
