do they really expect people to drop the rear end for this? thats crazy

i was about to buy a mac catback, now i'm thinking no.

after this thread mac catback sales will be down a lot, i was about to buy but i read about this a few weeks ago, its just a damn catback, we dont all have lifts

i love the sound of mac but this is starting to annoy me. customer service has been very helpful this is just very annoying. had the car up on stands again today and to try to get it in again and nothing. Dont want to send it back. Im hoping that i dont have to drop the rear, hoping that maybe i just need get the car up higher to rotate the exhaust a little more but idk

its only gonna drop so far with the control arms connected...

body to axle clearance is still only gonna be like 8-10", no way your getting 24~" of pipe around that

Well, you could always bite the bullet and take it to an exhaust shop, have them cut it, install it and weld it together.

yea i could do that....$$$ hate to pay for somthing that i can do myself but i dont want to have to drop the rear. i have access to a lift on saturday night sunday morning might just see if i can mess with it on a lift...really dont want to get rid of exhaust proly gunna have to bite the bullet..maybe see if they can give me some kind of credit for what i have to pay bc of their problem. if it was the old 2 piece it owuld work fine

Is the tailpipe one piece with a seperate muffleror or is the muffler and tailpipe one piece???

thhere is one piece from muffler over the axel then make another bend around the gas tank then the tip bolt on from there
