You can use the same crossmember and the same driveshaft. Although, I heard something about having to flip the crossmember upside down for this swap. I'm not sure about that though, but I know you can use the same crossmember.

Also, the C4 comes in 2 different size bellhousings. The smaller bellhousing will require a 157 tooth 50 oz flexplate and the larger bellhousing uses a 164 tooth 50 oz flexplate. The larger bellhousing C4 is more popular, but make sure which one you got. Also, the AOD uses the 164 tooth 50 oz flexplate, if your in need of one.

While we're talking about downgrades, I'm considering a 4 cyl. swap.

The advantage is more consistent times. I have seen some if his videos and he likes to race. But i love my TKO-600. It feels good to be able to shift an engine with power and not have to worry about the t-5 grenading.

ok to start off good plan going with the C4 i just put one in my 87 gt umm the crossmember i had to cut the welds on the tubes and slide the crossmember all the forward and then reweld the tubes also when you first get the trans in your car wont start thats because of the safty switch and its the plug with four wires you have to connect the black and pink and the the white and yellow togher to jump the switch other then that it went it great anyproblems PM me good luck
