I just went out andchecked my TPS sensor connecter thats coming from the wiring harness and I also checked the connecter from the Egr valve. When i checked it lit up but it was dull like it was gettin current but not the full 12v thats its suppose to get . So wat could this be ?

OK, you don't check any computor controlled parts w/ a test lite. Good way to toast your ecm. You need a volt/ohm meter and most of the sensors run off of 5 volt signals.

Will I did'nt know that. But it should still be getting more current then that rite .

TPS runs off a 5 volt reference signal.

The problem im having is it won't hold idle,throttle hesitates,car backfiresthrew exhaustand it all happens randomly .
