Default 95 cobra build up

I am building up my stock cobra 85000 miles easy driven.I plan on full exhaust,gears,intake ,ported heads etcc.need suggestions as too what combo has worked for you.also plan on trying nos as i have a supercharger in my saleen.this is my next project.

Sounds like you have a couple of nice cars. Are you porting the stock heads or getting a set of aftermarket heads? Put some AFR heads on that thing! The 5.0 is torquey so are you going with a 3.73 rear? If you want long-tube headers BBK makes real nice headers for Mustangs. Add an off-road H-pipe and Flows and that thing will sound wicked. Think about a cam too, E303 or so.

i would do exhaust and gears first, you already have a decnet intake setup, a cam and heads would be a nice follow up to the gears and exhaust. You already have the bigger #24 injectors and 70mm MAF, they will probably suppourt everything ok but a 70mm throttle body should help out.

the E with his stock 1.7 rockers will put the lift numbers at like .528 lift and that may cause piston to valve clearance problems. B303 would put him at like .510, I think thats ok, plus b cam has a little more top end power.

on second thought, call compcams or crane, or Anderson Ford Motorsports and see what kind of cams they have, Im sure it would be better than a E or B cam, they are both primative compared to whats available now. That would be the best way to maximize your performance, Just do some RESEARCH, it will pay off.
