Default car wont start

Just went out and turned on my 5.0, and it ran ok. It has been running lean for a few days, and i already bought a new fuel pump, but haven't installed it. I gave it a couple revs, turned it off and then went inside. I go back outside about 20 minutes later, try to start it up, and all i get is clicking.....

any advice or help would be great

no problems. for bad grounds start look for usually a black wire. follow the battery ground wire to its ground, check that. check your starter relay to ground (black wire) usually those are the big ones to check

Ok i just went out and started following wires......I found like 4 wires that arent even hooked up to anything??....Alot of the wires look like they are going iside to the MSD box. I'm trying to follow some of these but its gotten really confusing lol. Ummm now the car wont even make the clicking sound, so i'm assuming i now need a jump?

I need some more help guys....

The cylinder shaped MSD next to the battery is whats clicking. I unplugged the main MSD fuse and put a metal screwdriver in there, and it definetly has power (OUCH).

I need more ideas on what is messed up.....
