Default clunking noise

hi all, hoping for some advice/instructions on what to look for with this problem. Was driving and heard what sounded like a loud smack under the car (almost like a spring) and I thought somehow a rock had kicked up and hit the underside of the car. Now when I drive over bigger bumps there's a clunk that seems to come from the back end. I'm not a mechanic and not familiar with a problem like this, is there anything you can tell me to look for and any instructions you can give me keeping this in mind?

It's not a constant noise, but it's definitely not been there before, and over smaller bumps there's no clunking sound, but on the bigger bumps it's pretty obvious to me that something's not the same but I just don't know what to look for

thanks in advance

**edit, 92 mustang lx

doesn't sag at all, everything looks and sounds completely normal, just makes a loud clunk over a larger bump

okay I've found sometimes if I take a corner a bit sharp then it makes the clunk, it's not constant but it's often enough that i'm concerned about it (since it never did this before, have had it since october of last year)

what areas should I be taking pictures of?

is there anyway someone can post a picture of what it should look like? I've been under the car (not sure if I'm looking in the right places) and don't see anything that feels or looks loose?

okay it's definitely coming from the front left side of the car, I took it for a quick drive around the block and it's loudest when taking a right turn at a decent speed, and very clearly coming from the front left side, any ideas?
