Default C&L maf kit???

ok, so i'm looking at this kit. apparently it just comes with the 76mm mam and the intake tube from mam back. am i supposed to use the stock air box and hook it up to it??? because if so i'm going to have to mod mine because i'm converting to maf

I don't think I would use the stock air box. Use a k&n or some reuseable filter.

well i'd put a k&n filter in the stock airbox, but apparently i'm going to have to cut the tube on my airbox because it was for SD. anyone got any pictures or know where i should cut it at???

I would just clamp a cone style k&n directly to the maf its seems to work good for me and looks alot better.

It has cool air coming in from the big holes where the airbox went plus all of the air from around the headlight. By the time the air sucks up throught the egr spacer which hashot coolant running though it and the manifold I dont think the temp is going to be much of a hpdifferent?

I did my conversion on my 87 to MAF I used stock a MAF the tube from MAF to TB is the factory SD tube. I belive I cut it right at the start of the flex section. Stock air box with K&N filter and silencer/baffel removed (isnt that the very first mod you should do?).

where did you cut it at the airbox??? and where did you get that rubber thing to attach the mam to the airbox??? i hope i'm still able to fit a vortech in there...
