i was wondeirng if anyone here has done the same with the engine bay? i am looking into doing this but i am a little unsure of how. and what materiaql to you, and looking for some picture?

some people use bondo, some people fill the holes with a mig welder.
either way, you clean it, fill it, sand it, prime it, paint it

if i was to use bondo will it crack? like with all the vibration?

i iwll most likely MIG them all up nice.

to do the job right you need to take everything out of the engine bay, just like in the pics! Alot of guys just do a quickie and fill what they can see with the engine in, but thats kind of tacky. Fill the smallerholes with weld and larger ones with metal welded in. If you are gonna do it , do it right the first time. If you fill the holes with bondo, they will eventually crack out from the heat and vibration under the hood. It takes alot of time but looks trick as allh3ll when done!

the engine bay will be completely empty like in the pic. i will be welding the holes all up, i wil be sure to start a thread on it when i decide to do it.

Do yourself a favor and take everything out or tape it up really good! Overspray on the wires and hoses looks tacky!

oh man dont worry i will. i do everything i do properly, well atleast i try to. i am looking to detail this car real nice, but also have a nice 10-11 sec car. i will most likely take it all out and clean her right up or i will atleast tape it really good.
