Default Restoration for 1984 GT 5.0

Hello,

I've got a 1984 GT 5.0 that I would like to completely restore. Just wondering if anyone out there in Stangland has any good recommedations on reasonable, honest restoration shops?

Thanks,
Cary

your best bet is to do 1 thing at a time and to shop around, with local companies. for instance do the interior than do the body then do the engine and such if you try to have one place do it all they are gonna want so much money not only for doing it but for holding them up for so long getting it done and the fact of the business they might lose during that period. so if you brek it down into smaller doable sections and shop around you should get the best deal for the money.

Go to 50resto.com the company is called Latemodel Restoration Supply they specialize in 79-04 mustangs and sell restoration parts. You can order a free catalog and shop online they are good reputable people i have bought alot of parts from them.

Here's a solution, tackel the project yourself. It takes time, but the feeling is a lot better then taking it to a shop, and poof it's done. PLUS it would be a lot cheaper. Labor rates are a killer nowadays!
